P.C. Chandra Group distributed scholarships to eleven South Bengal toppers of the Madhyamik Examination 2020. The list was prepared out of 52 toppers across 23 districts of West Bengal. This was done as a part of their Jahar Lal Chandra Merit Scholarship Program.

This was the 7th year of the initiative. This began in 2014 on the 75th year of the group.

The scholarship amount that was given to the students was Rs 50, 000.
The students who received the amount were Isha Roy (Kolkata), Subhajit Saha (Kolkata), Asmi Chowdhary (North 24 Parganas), Aritra Maiti (North 24 Parganas), Ronita Biswas (South 24 Parganas), Sahitya Mondal (South 24 Parganas), Koyel Paul (Howrah), Suhardya Patra (Howrah), Suha Ghosh (Hooghly), Sohom Das (Hooghly) and Sampriti Kundu (Hooghly).

They were presented with the cheques by Uday Kumar Chandra, Managing Director, P.C. Chandra Jewellers.
