Emami Group and the century-old heritage football club of India East Bengal Club formally signed an agreement. With this agreement, Emami Group became the new investor of the East Bengal Club.

This announcement was done in the presence of Aditya V. Agarwal, Director, Emami Group, Manish Goenka, Director, Emami Group, Kalyan Majumder, Hon. Secretary, East Bengal Club, Sandeep Kumar Agarwal, and others.

Yesteryear players as well as new players of the East Bengal Club graced the occasion.

With the announcement of this new partnership, Emami Group will associate itself as an investor in strengthening the brand equity of East Bengal. This partnership will also help develop the East Bengal club as one of the premium football clubs in the country.

Emami Group has been associated with many sports personalities like Late Milkha Singh, Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, Mary Kom, Saina Nehwal, Gautam Gambhir, and others. The brand was also associated with the East Bengal Club in the mid-90s as the sponsor.

The different sporting activities of the club will now gain pace and with their efforts, they can join all tournaments like ISL. It will also help to enhance the training regimen, player base, and infrastructure required to achieve success in sports.
