A special screening of the recently released film Pokkhirajer Dim took place recently.

Set in the fictional village of Akashgunj, Pokkhirajer Dim tells the story of Ghoton (Mahabrata Basu), a schoolboy who discovers a legendary stone hidden inside an old, abandoned temple while rushing to pass a major retest.

With the help of his devoted friend Poppins (played by Anumegha Banerjee) and his quirky science teacher Batabyal Sir (played by Anirban Bhattacharya), he soon discovers the stone’s remarkable capacity to unleash repressed emotions.

However, what starts as an exciting academic pursuit quickly turns into a high-stakes adventure as foreign archaeologists begin to close in and threaten to reveal and exploit the relic’s secret.

Directed by Soukarya Ghosal, the film stars actors Mahabrata Basu, Anumegha Banerjee, Anirban Bhattacharya, music composer Nabarun Bose, and others.

The special screening was attended by eminent personalities, including Srijit Mukherji, Jaya Ahsan, Lagnajita Chakraborty, and others.
