A unique effort of the eminent organization “Bhasha Sangsad” and the magazine “Anubad Patrika” was organizing the “Sonali Ghosal Saraswat Samman”.

This event was a unique felicitation ceremony to pay respect to all eminent dignitaries who have made outstanding contributions to literature, poetry, and art.

Anubad Patrika magazine and Bhasha Sangsad are well-known names in the world of Bengali translation literature since 1975. Sonali Ghosal, the wife of the founder of this magazine, Mr. Vaishampayan Ghosal, is a brilliant laureate in the world of translation literature.

 In memory of his work, Bhasha Sangsad started ‘Anuvad Patrika’ in 2022 with Sonali Ghoshal Saraswat Samman award.

Bhaswati Dutta sang the inaugural song at this event and mesmerized the audience.

The dignitaries who graced the event were Sister Nivedita University Acharya and leader of Techno India Group Satyam Roy Chowdhury, Sahitya Akademi Regional Secretary -Devendra Kumar Debesh, Member of Assembly and writer Manoranjan Byapari, Literary Tapan Banerjee, Poet Anuradha Mahapatra, Poet Prasoon Bhowmik, Public Speaker Rahul Basak, Director Shankha Ghosh and Abhijit Guha and others.

Vitasta Ghoshal, leader of Bhasha Sangsad translation magazine also graced the event.

The award was presented to Satyam Roy Chowdhury, Sudeshna Roy, Abhijit Guha, Shankha Ghosh, Manoranjan Byapari,  and Rahul Basak.
