The ancient trading route known as the Silk Route, which united East and West, was essential for the interchange of products, ideas, and cultural expressions. Along the journey, traders carried with their spices, herbs, and other ingredients that were previously unknown in various parts of the world. The ‘Fall of Flavours’ culinary event was launched by JW Marriott Kolkata at Vintage Asia to spread the enchantment of Asian flavors along the Duman River shores, which connect China, Korea, and the Sea of Japan.

The rich and varied flavors of Oriental cuisine can be experienced by customers in an exciting dining excursion. The spice trade is to blame for the decline of flavor along the Silk Road. A variety of grills, dim sum, seafood, and desserts have been meticulously chosen by the talented in-house chefs and are all infused with the lively and distinctive flavors of the Orient.
