Enjoy Malaysian Delicacies At The Westin’s A Food Festival From Malaysia
Malaysian flavors are included at The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat under the direction of Chefs Syahir and Chef Fahmi. From May 5 to May 15, the hotel will hold “A Food Festival from Malaysia” for its guests at Seasonal Tastes.
Chef Syahir holds the position of Senior Chef de Partie, and Chef Fahmi, Chef de Partie 1 at the all-day dining restaurant, Latest Recipe in Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur. Chef Syahir’s mastery of Malay, Chinese, and Indian cuisines, coupled with his expertise in planning menus, developing recipes, and preparing dishes, promises a culinary extravaganza. Chef Fahmi, who has worked for prestigious hotels like Puteri Pacific, The Golden Place Hotel, and The Maya Hotel Kuala Lumpur, will also add his touch to the festival.
The extensive dine-in dinner menu consists of a wide array of signature specialties from Malaysia.
The food festival will showcase specialties like, Cucur Udang Bersama Kuah Kacang, Malaysian Traditional Rojak Buah, Dalca Tulang Rusuk Berbiri, Ikan Goreng Berempah, Kambing Kurma Bersama Kentang’ to name a few.
The Live Stations will showcase interactive cooking experiences for guests, such as the ‘Malaysian Interactive Live Station’ and the ‘Malaysian Grill Station’. These stations will provide guests with the opportunity to watch and interact with the chefs as they prepare and cook the dishes.
On offer are traditional Malaysian desserts like Kuih Ketayap, Agar AgarJagung, Bubur Kacang Bersama Jagung, and KuihTalam Lapis.
