With the help of cultural activist Sundeep Bhutoria from Kolkata and Grammy winner Ricky Kej, who conceptualized an epic version of the Indian National Anthem, an ensemble of nearly 14,000 tribal children from Odisha performed at the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, setting a new record for “Largest Singing Lesson” in the Guinness Book of World Records.

The video also features living musical legends of India like Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, Rakesh Chaurasia, Amaan & Ayaan Ali Bangash, Rahul Sharma, Jayanthi Kumaresh, Sheik & Kaleeshabi Mahaboob, Giridhar Udupa and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of UK.

“This project is a major accomplishment in the fields of musical collaboration and cultural expression, and it is a true celebration of India’s unity in variety. The world is powerfully reminded of the strength of our cultural legacy by the great artists’ partnership with thousands of Odisha children. Being a part of this historic occasion has been an honor” said Sundeep Bhutoria, the trustee of the Prabha Khaitan Foundation.

“The ability of music to unite people is demonstrated by this endeavor. It honors the spirit of Bharat and celebrates our varied heritage. “I am immensely proud of our collective accomplishments,” said Ricky Kej.

The 14,000 kids drew a human map of India and constructed the word “Bharat” in both Hindi and English, creating a striking visual depiction of the country’s rich cultural legacy and young people’s limitless potential. Universal Music India has made this version of the National Anthem available on a variety of platforms.
