Hazra Park Durgotsab marked the beginning of this year’s Durga puja festivities at Jatin Das Park (Hazra crossing) by organizing the Khuti Puja. Hazra Park Durgotsab, renowned for its innovative pandal themes and significant social projects, continues to be a major event on the city’s Durga Puja calendar.

The Puja is celebrating its 83rd edition this year, carrying on its tradition of inclusivity and innovation.

The occasion was graced by various eminent personalities like Janab Firhad Bobby Hakim, Hon’ble Mayor of Kolkata, Sri. Sovandeb Chattopadhyay, Minister of Agriculture, Govt of WB, Sri. Debasish Kumar, MLA, Smt. Darshana Banik, Actress, Sri. Kartik Banerjee, Social Activist, Sri. Sayan Deb Chatterjee, Joint Secretary of Hazra Park Durgotsab Committee & many others.

Renowned figures attended Hazra Park Durgotsab to herald the Durga Puja, while Dhaks performed in the background. With grandeur and inventiveness, the festival launches its 83rd edition this year, promising everyone who attends an experience they won’t soon forget.

The Hazra Park Durgotsab Committee’s Joint Secretary, Sri. Sayan Deb Chatterjee said, “Every year we aim not only to innovate but to inspire.
