Exide Industries Ltd launched their Batmobile Doorstep Service facility in the presence of Mr. Arun Mittal, Director Automotive, and other eminent guests.

With the launch of this facility, one will be able to extend the scope to a range of inverters and inverter batteries under a single roof.

Though power-cuts have reduced in Kolkata, it is still prevalent in the outskirts and rural Bengal. The people there use inverters and inverter batteries. If the inverter or inverter batteries that one uses to face some technical problems, then one can make use of this service for getting rid of the inverter or inverter battery problems.

One can simply send a WhatsApp message to 70440 00000. This will alert the service technician located nearby your home. The technician will visit your home and resolve the issue at the earliest. The earlier system with a team of mechanics has been removed to increase the speed of service.

The users can also place voice calls at the number 1800-103-5454. The customers can easily log on to www.exidebatmobile.com and place their complaints.

This service is free for those Exide products that are still in the warranty period. It will be chargeable for the Exide products that are out of warranty or are from other brands.

The Batmobile Door Step service will be available for three types of products. They are inverters, inverter batteries, and car batteries for individual owners.

After the launch in Kolkata, Exide will expand this service to 250 other cities in the country.
