Thailand’s most well-known event is Songkran. This water festival ushers in the traditional Thai New Year and is a significant occasion on the Buddhist calendar. The Sanskrit term that gives Songkran its name means “passing” or “approaching”.

To celebrate Songkran, one can indulge in authentic dishes and beverages at Pan Asian, ITC Sonar.

Thai cuisine is distinguished from other culinary traditions by its innovative use of contrasting flavors. Thai cuisine frequently combines mild, sweet citrus flavors, such as lime and mango, with spicy spices.

And these elements have been infused in the set menu at Pan Asian and this will make for an unforgettable culinary experience for the patrons.

The set menu is available in vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

The vegetarian set menu consists of dishes like Som Tam, Tom Yam Phak, Crispy Tahoo, Phad Phak Ruam Mitre, Vegetable Kra Prow, Stir Fried Tofu With Beans, Kaeng Phet Phak, Phad Kee Mao, Jasmine Rice and Ice Cream Kati Sod.

The non-vegetarian set menu consists of dishes like Som Tam Gai, Tom Yam Gai, Fish Takrai, Phad Phak Ruam Mitre, Chicken Kra Prow, Pla Neung Manao, Kaeng Phet Gai, Phad Kee Mao, Jasmine Rice and Ice Cream Kati Sod.

The Chef’s special menu is priced at Rs 2500 plus taxes per person. It will be available from 7 pm to 11.45 pm.

The festival will start from 10th April and will continue till 15th of April.
