The environmentally friendly and climate-resilient superfood from ancient India has made a miraculous comeback and is once again the center of attention. Since 2023 has been designated as the International Year of Millets, it bears a special significance in the fields of agriculture and food. The much-anticipated “Month of Millet” is poised to dazzle food aficionados at Vedic from August 13 through September 12, and The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat is leading the charge on this gastronomic transformation like no other hotel in the city. This month-long festival aims to revive stale millets and introduce cutting-edge plant-based cooking techniques.
Patrons can take part in interactive Live Chaat Making, and skilled chefs will craft delightful chaats in front of them.
