An Education & Cultural Centre for the Blind & other Differently Abled in collaboration with Anubhav- A social organization in association with Ganadarpan has organized an Eye and Body Donation Programme Venerated by Visually Impaired, Specially-Abled and Other People. This is the first-of-its-kind initiative in West Bengal.

NIP, by expanding its periphery, also started intervening in the sphere of the development of cultural interests along with the thought of economical comfort of its beneficiaries. To enhance the initiative of “waste to rituality” by utilizing the waste materials, NIP NGO teamed up with the students from art colleges and with the art professionals from various universities of West Bengal and soon it became popular.

Mr. Debajyoti Roy, Secretary of NIP & Mr. Susanta Bhattacharyya, President of Hridaypur Anubhav Welfare Society said, “People who have visual impairments and other physical limitations are no less human than anyone else, and we should support them by encouraging them to do their best work. Over 100 volunteers for organ and eye donation participated in this event. The best explanation for this is the Paralympic success”.
