For boosting and impetus to the business of small and medium scale industries, homepreneurs, and to raise funds for BestFriendz Society, SHE headed by Shagufta Hanaphie will be organizing a fashion and lifestyle exhibition post lockdown titled Kolkata Festival.

The exhibition will be inaugurated by Padamsree Purna Das Baul,  Shagufta Hanaphie Founder Director She,  Lion Lekha Sharma, and Regional Director ICCR Gautam De.

The fashion and lifestyle exhibition will showcase dress materials, accessories, interior decoration items, toys for kids, and so on. The minimal price is Rs 200 while the maximum price is Rs 7000.

The opening of the event on 11th December will see the dance Group Sankalp paying a tribute to Late Soumitra Chatterjee. This will be followed by an interactive session Women empowering lives, pre and post lockdown. Speakers to be present are Chaitali Das- Chairperson Rakshak Foundation,  Kasika Arora- entrepreneurs, Sujata Agarwal of Lions Club, and director of Techno India Sujoy Biswas.

A special santoor performance by Ayush Lala a student of Pt Tarun Bhattacharya on 12th Dec at 2 pm will be followed by an installation ceremony of Payal Varma as BestFriendz Club’s new Chairperson followed by a chat show and interactive session on ‘Abused Durga’.  Speakers who will be speaking on the issue will be actress-Papia Adhikary, actress and classical dancer-Anindita Roy, Professor Aammar Zaki-advocate High Court, Supratim Roy-producer, film distributer, and GSC International VC, Soma Lahiri- editor Bartaman Sukhi Grihokon and Shagufta Hanaphie- Founder SHE. Kolkatar Gaanwala will also be performing live in this program.

The two-day event will be held at ICCR on 11th & 12th December 2020 from 12 noon to 7 pm.
