Felicitation Of Great Women Achievers In Uniform
ibis Kolkata Rajarhat organized a special Women’s Day Celebration event, Women in Uniform: Beyond Boundaries.
The event honored and felicitated remarkable women achievers from different sectors. The women who were felicitated were Dr. Rupali Basu, Managing Director of Woodlands Hospital, Dr. Sushmita Roy Chowdhury, DIRECTOR PULMONOLOGY, MBBS, MD, FRCP (Edin), HERMES Diplomate, Doma Wang, Owner of “The Blue Poppy Thakali”, Chef Ms. Indira Mukherjee, Deputy Commissioner of Police of Bidhannagar, Captain Samridhi Mahajan, Junior First Officer at IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd), and Nazia Elahi Khan, Senior Lawyer at The Supreme Court.
The rise of women in historically male-dominated fields—especially those that call for uniforms—signifies a substantial advancement toward social change and gender equality. Their growing number not only adds diversity to the workforce but also acts as a source of inspiration and empowerment for upcoming generations.
Beyond their accomplishments, women in uniform have a positive social impact by improving team performance and creating a more just and encouraging workplace. This event served as a forum to celebrate the accomplishments and tenacity of women everywhere, despite the obstacles they face. It sought to support gender equality, elevate the voices of women, and motivate upcoming generations of female leaders.
