During this Durga Puja, on Mahalaya, the Concierge will lead you on a walking trip through Kumartuli, where you can see the traditional group of expert porters who construct the idols. After that, there will be a stroll and tour of the city’s most famous pandals or marquees, where you may assist the people in setting them up and decorating them. On October 3, 4, and 5, there will be an opening of puja at the pandal in North Kolkata, as well as a cultural program. A visit of the North and South Kolkata Puja Pandals, which are recognized for their intricate detailing and exhibition of art and craft, is scheduled for October 6. On October 7, there will be a steamer excursion from the dock along the river.

On October 9, Maha Sashti celebrations feature pandal hopping in South Kolkata starting at 4:00 p.m. On October 10 and 11, which are Maha Saptami and Ashtami, you can witness the Kola Bau Snan and Crowning Days of the Puja in the Puja Pandals starting at 7:00 a.m. On October 12, Maha Nabami, the Concierge plans to visit the Bonedi Bari or Puja Pandal in North Kolkata for the Kumari Puja, which begins at 9:00 a.m. Last but not least, on the thirteenth, Bijoya Dashami represents the Sindur Khela, which concludes Durga Puja. The Durga idol immersion is scheduled for October 13th, starting at 4.30 p.m. onwards.
