The 9^th edition of Fface Calendar 2023 was announced in the presence of Neil Roy, Founder and Director of Fface, director duo Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha, Soham Chakraborty, Koushani Mukherjee, Raja Chanda, Bonny Sengupta, Falaque Rashid Roy, Paromita Ghosh, Strategic Consultant, Director, Fface, Indroneel Mukherjee, Fashion Director, Fface and others.

This is the first time that Fface has associated itself with a new film Angshuman MBA directed by Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha. The film is produced by Shadow Films.

The 9^th edition of the FFace Calendar saw more than 500 registrations from different parts of Bengal for the auditions. The best 30 participants will be featured in the magazine and the top 12 will be launched as the Fface Calendar for 2023.

The team of the upcoming Bengali film Angshuman MBA consists of director-duo Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha, Soham Chakraborty, and Koushani Mukherjee graced the occasion.

Sudeshna Roy said that she and Abhijit Guha were thinking of what film to make next. It is then that Sanjib Banerjee sent them a story. It was titled Archisman MBA. But after listening to the story, they decided to change it to Angshuman MBA as that sounded more apt.

The story is about a man who does not have a great relationship with his father. His father wants him to join their family business but he does not want to join it. He starts a business with his Gujarati friend. Though the profits are good, they cannot reveal the nature of the business to anyone. What happens next?

Sudeshna Roy said, “Archisman is an educated man. He learns things quickly due to his knowledge. This is the benefit of education in our lives and that is shown through this character”.

Abhijit Guha added that people judge others based on their outward appearances. But that is often not right. The film will highlight that aspect of society as well.

Soham said “I listened to the one-liner of the story a few days ago and I realized that I have not done such a film before. I have done films with this director duo before and I love working with them. I especially liked the relationship between the father and the son when I listened to the story. It will be an interesting project for sure”.

Koushani said “I have grown up watching the films made by Sudeshna di and Abhijit da. And to become a part of their film is a great achievement indeed. What they try to do is to showcase a different you in their films. The character Labanya that I play in this film is different from me. She talks in a different way and even dresses up differently from me. Hence, this will be a great character to portray onscreen”.

The shooting will begin by the end of this month.
