Aakash Aath to celebrate Mahalaya will be organizing the fifth edition of ‘Raat Pohalo Sharodo Praate’. This is a one of its kind night – long musical extravaganza that will amuse its audience for nine hours of from 9.30 pm on Wednesday, 16^th September 2020 to 7 am on Thursday, 17^th September 2020.

More than 20 renowned artists including Srabani Sen, Somlata Acharya, Ms. Jojo, Lopamudra Mitra, Subhamita, Aditi Munshi, Iman Chakraborty, Rupankar, Swapan Basu, Rathijeet, Ujjaini, Tirtho, Gurujeet, Sidhu, Durnibar, Kinjal, Bhaswar Chatterjee, Biswanath Basu, and Kaushik among others will be performing LIVE with the phone in. The show also has a dance drama on ‘Mahishasur Mardini’ from 4 am – 5 am in the morning. Sreetama Bhattacharya will perform as Maa Durga, Srijon Chattopadhyay will be chanting Stotras accompanied by Mahalaya songs sung by Iman, Gaurab, Trisha, Aritra, Soumen, etc.

Sourabh Chanda will be choreographing the dance drama and Shovan Gangulyis the music director for the entire performance.

This year, the anchors will also engage the singers in a lot of fun games in the show. The guests will get a lot of surprises during the show which can be clippings from their loved ones or even close ones entering the set at any point during the entire night.
