Filmfare is back with the fifth edition of the Filmfare Awards Bangla in association with Joy Personal Care. A digital press meet was organized to announce this upcoming award show. Gracing the occasion was Dev, Jitesh Pillai, Editor, Filmfare, Sunil Agarwal, Chairman, Joy personal Care, Poulomi Roy, Chief Marketing Officer, Joy Personal Care.

The award show will honor performances of 2020-2021 with the iconic Black Lady.

The award show will be hosted by Abir Chatterjee, Anirban Bhattacharya, and Sohini Sarkar. Prosenjit Chatterjee will pay a tribute to the late Bappi Lahiri. Power-packed individual performances by Dev, Ushasi Ray, Trina Saha, and Swastika Dutta will keep everyone hooked. Akriti Kakar, Rupankar Bagchi, and Iman Chakraborty will also perform at the award show.

Dev said that the Filmfare Awards is truly an honor to be part of. They inspire the performers to keep chasing excellence and work hard for the iconic Black Lady.

The award show will be held on 17th March 2022 at Westin, Kolkata.
