Friends Communication founded by Firdausul Hasan and Probal Halder is currently in its 10th year. To celebrate this glorious journey, Firdausul Hasan shared a note to recall this 10-long-glorious year of Friends Communication.

“Friends Communication is known for its content-driven films. We make Indian films in the Bengali Language. 10 years ago, we started our creative journey with Rupkatha Noy starring the late Soumitra Chatterjee and Radhika Apte. Right from the beginning, our films got recognition and appreciation from the audience. In 2017, our film Mayurakshi won the 65th national award for Best Bengali feature film. In 2022, Aparajito became the first blockbuster film post-pandemic which ran houseful for 120 days in theatres winning both national and international laurels. In 2023, FIPRESCI-India (the India Chapter of the International Federation of Film Critics: FIPRESCI) nominated three of our films Aparajito, Mahananda, and Shesh Pata for the Grand-Prix-2022” said Hasan.

Mr. Hasan concluded by stating that it has been an amazing journey. Making films is a passion-driven industry. He has always believed in amazing content and balanced it with a modern approach. He hoped that the audience will continue to shower their love in the years to come on Friends Communication.
