First Day Shooting Coverage of Bengali Film Shlilatahanir Pore
The first day shooting of the upcoming Bengali movie Shlilatahanir Pore directed by Reshmi Mitra took place recently at Uttam Manch. The film is based on a novel by Mallika Sengupta.
Rahul Arunoday Banerjee, Moubani Sorcar, Devlina Kumar, Ishaan Mazumder, Shubham, Rayati along with director Reshmi Mitra was present at the shooting.
Rape has become rampant in today’s times. Not only women but small girl child also gets raped. The trauma that this incident follows and how a lady overcomes it forms the story of the film.
Rahul plays Sanglap in the film. He is a research scholar in English department and also sings in a band. Moubani plays the role of his wife in the film. The actor had earlier worked in Bhalobasha Zindabad directed by Reshmi Mitra opposite Priyanka Sarkar.
The actor will be next seen in a web-series on friendship directed by Anjan Dutt. The web-series will be released on Zee5 and will be released on Friendship Day. The actor will also be seen in Anjan Kanjilal’s film, Sahabase.
Ishaan plays Brotin in the film. The scene that they were shooting includes a musical performance by Brotin and his friends.
Moubani plays Subechha in the film. “The story is exemplary and a lot of experienced actors are acting in the film. It is a pleasure working with them. Though I have not read the novel, the script does justice to the novel. The script is a great projection of the novel. The film deals with a very topical issue” said the actress.
Hailing from a theatre background, Rayati was selected for the role of Meenakshi by the director at the last moment. The actress revealed that the character was completely different from her real life personality. The character is an extrovert and wants to attract people towards her.
The cast of the film consists of Soumitra Chatterjee, Sreela Majumder, Rahul Banerjee, Mouboni Sorcar, Ishan Mazumder, Shubham, Devlina Kumar and others.
Bappa Aurindam is the music composer of the film.
The shooting will take place in different parts of the city.
