Great news for the senior citizens. HP Ghosh Hospital Kolkata launched its first doctor-staffed free ambulance service exclusively for senior citizens. Through this initiative, the hospital will be able to provide immediate medical service to elderly citizens living within a radius of 5 kilometers. This will ensure safety in critical times.

A press meeting was organized to announce this initiative. It was graced by Somenath Bhattacharya, CEO of HP Ghosh Hospital Kolkata, Dr. Hirak Bhattacharya, and others.

This service will be available 24×7 for the patients.

Somenath Bhattacharya said “Since our inception, we have been thinking about ways of serving the community better. It is under that initiative that we have come up with this service for the elderly people. Many of their children live outside Kolkata or abroad and they live alone. Hence this kind of service is very vital for them. They can get the treatment promptly”.

With the help of this initiative, not only elderly lives can be saved and reinforce the hospital’s commitment to serve the community.
