Kolkata has always been associated with art and culture. Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers in association with India Art Gallery organized Kolkata Art Fair 2020 at ICCR, Kolkata.

The inauguration took place in the presence of Debojyoti Mishra, artist Mehtab Molla, novelist Selina Hossain, Kamaleshwar Mukherjee, Tanusree Shankar, Wasim Kapoor, Rupak Saha and others.

This was the first edition of the art festival. A great variety of sculptures, portraits, photographs, graphics and film posters were showcased at the exhibition.

The art fair was put together by India Art Gallery with artist Jogen Chowdhury as advisor. Debojyoti Mishra has composed the signature tune and the theme the song has been sung by Rupankar.

The aim of the Kolkata Art Fair 2020 was to showcase the latest trends in the field of paintings, sculptures, photography and installations.

Speaking at the event, Kamaleshwar Mukherjee said “It is a great art fair where the art works of eminent artists can be seen by the patrons. Both new and eminent artists will be showcasing their art works”.

The festival continued till 1^st March at the Rabindranath Tagore Centre of ICCR, Kolkata.
