First International Startup Festival To Focus On Start-Up Ecosystem
The first-ever International Startup Festival (ISF) will take place in Hyderabad in 2024 thanks to the cooperation of the International Start-up Foundation, a well-known non-profit that promotes the expansion and development of the start-up ecosystem, and International Startups Network Pvt Ltd (ISN), a global incubation city that will house startups from all over the world. It will take place at the Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI), located in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, on September 26 and 28, 2024.
T-Hub hosted the Investor Connect Workshop and the ISF 2024 Curtain Raiser. Startup entrepreneurs will have a special opportunity to network with investors and peers, work together on creative projects, and map out a growth strategy for their businesses at ISF 2024.
For registered startups, an Investor Connect Workshop was arranged, giving them access to expert insights to expedite their fundraising. The workshop’s objectives were to support and advise more than 100 startups while they raised money.
More than 10 mentors including Mr. JA Chowdary – Key Architect – in the Indian Tech Industry and Founder of ISF, Mr. Rajesh Raju – MD of Kalaari Capitals, Mr. Shobu Yarlagadda – CEO & Co-Founder of Arka Media Works, Mr. Prasad Vanga – Founder & CEO, Ant Hill Ventures, Mr. Sateesh Andra – MD Endiya Partners, Mr. Sanjeev Deshpande – Country Head – NTT Data, Mr. Sridhar Rampalli – Managing Partner – Pave Stone, Mr. Vikrant Varshney – Co-Founder & Managing Partner – SucSEEDIndovation Fund and Mr. Srinivas Rao Mahankali – CEO T- Hub along with a large number of startup founders attended the Investor Connect Workshop and the Curtain Raiser for ISF 2024.
“Innovation & Entrepreneurship in the Age of AI” is the theme of ISF 2024, with an emphasis on using AI to spur innovation in a variety of fields, such as healthcare, education, agritech, food technology, fintech, and rural innovations. With over 600 firms and over 300 taking part in the Startup Expo, ISF 2024 seeks to address issues facing entrepreneurs and provide chances for sustainable growth. It will also include more than 800 international angel investors, 300 venture capitalists, and 250 CXOs, providing a worldwide reach and a fantastic networking opportunity. Additionally, exceptional innovators and emerging startups will be honored at ISF 2024.
More than fifty thousand startups from the United States, India, and other nations will participate in ISF 2024. The top 100 startups will be chosen as finalists, giving them a unique chance to make an on-stage pitch and obtain investment. Following Investor Connect Workshops in Pune, Bengaluru, Andhra Pradesh, USA, Europe, and now Hyderabad, these firms made the shortlist. The only venue with a specific focus on rural innovation is ISF, which also organizes a Rural Economic Forum to encourage grassroots creativity and identify tech-enabled solutions for the rural economy. The Junicorn Roundtable is only held at ISF to support the upcoming generation of innovators.
It will also feature engaging discussions on critical areas such as Health-tech, Fintech, Agritech, Defence & Spacetech, EdTech, ConsumerTech, VLSI & Embedded Tech, and more. Special roundtables will cover topics like Women in Business, Global Capability Centres, and Junicorns.
The three-day Startup Expo will offer attendees a lively setting for networking with company owners and investigating cutting-edge goods and services. The expo will showcase the vibrant and diversified startup ecosystem with pavilions from over 15 nations, including several Indian states.
ISF 2024 is likely to be inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana Shri A Revanth Reddy with several policymakers, Industry Leaders, and successful startup founders.
