The first look of the upcoming Bengali film Prothom Barer Prothom Dekha took place in the presence of the cast and crew of the film.

Prothom Barer Prothom Dekha is the story of friendship and love. It revolves around four friends Bunty, Kalu, Tinku, and Chirkut. They are all students of class 12 of a government school. They hail from a poor background. Bunty’s father runs a small shop in front of his house. He is the only son of his parents. Residing in the same area is Timir Roy Chowdhury with his daughter Kuheli. She studies in English medium school beside the government school. Bunty sees her one-day offering balloons to poor kids. He becomes impressed and follows her everywhere. Slowly he falls in love with her. One day he confesses his love to her. Kuheli rejects him stating the difference in their financial status. What happens next?

The cast of the film consists of Arya Dasgupta, Rittika Sen, Kharaj Mukherjee (as the hero’s father), Tulika Basu (as the hero’s mother), Shantilal Mukherjee (as the heroine’s father), Debranjan Nag, Prasun Gain, Partha Sarathi Chakrabarty, Raju Majumder, and others.

This is the debut film of Aakash Malakar.

The story is by Barnita Bose.

The script and dialogue are by Peu Bhattacharjee Mukherjee.

The music of the film has been composed by Deb A Brata. The songs in the film are Bondhu Tor Bhalobasha (Friends Anthem), Pagli and Prothom Barer Prothom Dekha.

The song Pagli was sung by Rupankar Bagchi. But on the edit table, the film’s creative team took the decision that Rupnakar’s voice sounded mature and it was not suitable for Arya Dasgupta. Hence they decided to record the song with Arijit. The team understand that this might have made Rupankar upset but they did this for the film.

The film is eyeing for release soon.
