Sabitri Productions, in association with renowned filmmaker Orpheus Mukhoty, released the first look poster for their eagerly awaited Bengali feature film Mukhoshe Manushe Khela-Dark Mind Games. With its distinct take on corporate intrigue, the compelling murder mystery is sure to captivate viewers.

The plot of Mukhoshe Manusher Khela centers on businessman Joy Sanyal (played by Joydip Chakraborty), who gets caught up in a web of murderous plots hatched by his competitors. Joy is forced to face the sinister secrets of his seemingly ideal life when unexplained deaths take place. While Subrata Dutta portrays investigator Manik Sen, Priyanka Sarkar portrays Nandini, a shadowy business colleague. ACP Aloke Sanyal, a real-life police officer, will also play himself in the movie.

Hailing from Abu Dhabi,  Joydip Chakraborty, an actor and writer of Mukhoshe Manushe Khela with a wealth of theatrical and short film experience, said he was thrilled about his feature film debut. For him, the process of bringing Mukhoshe Manushe Khela to life has been thrilling.

The cast of the film consists of Joydip Chakraborty, Priyanka Sarkar, and Subrata Dutta in pivotal roles.

Orpheus Mukhoty, the director of Ei Shohore, Boli, Akashee Pullover, and Adhara, said, “This film is a pioneering attempt at the corporate thriller genre, providing tension and intrigue throughout”.

Produced by Sabitri Productions from the UAE, Mukhoshe Manusher Khela – Dark Mind Games recently completed filming in Kolkata.

In addition, Sabitri Productions has also ventured into English cinema with their upcoming film The Phoenix, which is slated for release in January 2025. The film is currently doing the rounds of film festivals globally.

The film’s cinematography is by Sourav Dey, and the music has been composed by Kaushik Ghosh. Abhijit Barman, aka ‘Pota’(of Cactus fame), has lent his voice to the title track of the film.

The film is set for a theatrical release in February 2025 in Kolkata and the UAE.
