Surinder Films released the first look poster for Sonar Kellay Jawker Dhan, directed by Sayantan Ghosal and starring Koel Mallick, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Gaurav Chakrabarty, Saheb Chatterjee, and Suprobhat Das. The poster was released on Koel Mallick’s birthday.

The third film in the Jawker Dhan series, Sonar Kellay Jawker Dhan, which stars Koel Mallick, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, and Gaurav Chakrabarty as the Jawker Dhan trio, is scheduled to premiere on May 30.

Koel Mallick will return as psychiatrist Dr. Ruby Chatterjee in the film. This is a spin-off of Satyajit Ray’s 1971 classic Sonar Kella, directed by Sayantan Ghosal. Parambrata Chattopadhyay and Gaurav Chakrabarty will play researchers Bimal and Kumar, respectively.

Suprobhat Das will play Mukul, who is now an adult. Along with the lead trio of Ruby, Bimal, and Kumar, Mukul embarks on a quest to find the parashpathar, or philosopher’s stone, in the Golden Fort as his memories of a previous life come flooding back.

Sonar Kellay Jawker Dhan will indeed be a great film to look forward to.
