The first M. S. Dhoni Cricket Academy (MSDCA) of West Bengal was launched in the presence of Mihir Diwakar, Managing Director, Aarka Sports, Meghdoot Sur, Director, MS Sports Venture, Sujit Bose and other dignitaries.

This will be the fourteenth MSDCA in India and will be located at Salt Lake.

The aim of the institute was to give back to the society. The institute is equipped with smart technology, high class coaching facility and certified coaches. The academy has been curated by Mahendra Singh Dhoni himself to offer the best facilities to everybody.

The academy organizes domestic and international cricket tours to experience different culture and conditions.

There are 13 academies in India, one in Dubai and two in Singapore.

The academy in Kolkata will be operating from May 2019.
