First Poster Of Dev-Starrer Pradhan Out Now

Bengal Talkies & Dev Entertainment Ventures revealed the first Poster of their movie, Pradhan, at Nandan.

It was graced by Paran Bandopadhyay, Dev, Anirban Chakrabarti, Mamata Shankar, Biswanath Basu, Konineeca Banerjee, producers Atanu Raychaudhuri & Pranab Kumar Guha, and director, Avijit Sen.

Following the enormous success of “Tonic,” which Indian Panorama picked for the 53rd IFFI 2022’s Mainstream Cinema category, viewers will once more witness the captivating chemistry between Paran Bandopadhyay and Dev on the Big Screen in Pradhan.

Pradhan is a tale about interpersonal interactions and human ideals that serve as a window into society.

“Pradhan allowed me to work with two of my favorite actors, Paran Da and Dev, again after Tonic. They have unmatched chemistry, and working with this enormous group of incredibly great performers has been such an incredible experience. In Pradhan, the audience will undoubtedly rediscover Anirban Chakraborty, and there are plenty of surprises” said director Avijit Sen.

Dev said that for this film he had to think out-of-the-box for portraying the character of a police officer. Though he had played the role of a police officer before in films, this one is a bit different. He had already charmed the audiences with his last release Bagha Jatin and with this film he wants to continue to win hearts.

The film was largely shot in North Bengal’s scenic locations.

“We shot the film with a cast and crew of 300 people. It was a huge family who had the same ideals and temperament. We worked hard to make this a special film” said Paran Bandopadhyay.

Paran Bandopadhyay will be seen in the role of a teacher and his wife’s role has been played by Mamata Shankar.

Biswanath Basu said that this is his third film with the director and fifth film with the producer. “When I shot for the film, I had an amazing experience. The team of the director is fantastic. Dev can easily mix with anyone and yet never loses his position. It was an amazing experience working on this film. I developed an amazing friendship with Anirban” said the actor.

Anirban Chakrabarti said that he had positive ideas about Dev. And after mixing with Dev during the shoot of the film, he understood that they were true.

Mamata Shankar described the team as a caring unit. It was more of a second home for her. She also thanked the producer and director for casting her in this film after Projapoti.
