Flamingo’s Range of Orthopaedic Products Unveiled; Hrithik Roshan As Brand Ambassador
Ascent Meditech Limited is a leading player in Orthopaedic soft goods, mobility, wound-care and healthcare products. The Flamingo range of Orthopaedic and Pain Management products will be showcased during IOACON 2019 organized by the West Bengal Orthopaedic Association and being held at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre Kolkata from 21st to 24th November.
Mr Rakesh Kumar, Vice-President, Sales & Marketing graced the press conference and spoke about the products of the company.
Hrithik Roshan has been roped in to promote the brand Flamingo.
The main aim of the brand is to shift from cure to prevention. “We are focusing more on preventing the disease. In that way people will be healthy and they will need less orthopaedic goods” said Mr Kumar.
The company exports goods to 47 countries.
Heat belts, knee caps are some of the popular products of the company. The other products of the company include knee braces, shoulder immobilizer, waist trimmer, regular and premium anklet, varicose vein stockings, diabetic socks, back rest and many others.
The company has five plants for making the various products. The brand has also come up with the plan to make the biggest plant in Gujarat. This plant has come up with the plant which will make four times the goods made by the five plants put together.
Mr Kumar highlighted on the fact that consumer needs are changing and hence the company has come up with coloured heat belts, knee caps so as to suit the needs of the customers.
The company has also launched its e-commerce platform www.flamingohealth.com. 125 products of the company are available at the platform. The product range is divided into 7 categories- comfort range, premium range, lifestyle range, pediatric range, wound care range, mobility range and footcare range.There is a flat 10% discount for all purchases made on this e-commerce platform. On purchase of Rs 200 and above, consumers need not pay any delivery charges.
