Nakku Nakur Na Jao Thakur song from the upcoming Durga Puja release Raktabeej was officially released in the presence of director Nandita Roy, Devlina Kumar, Anindya Chatterjee, and the Nandy sisters (Antara and Ankita Nandy).

“The Nandy sisters are YouTube sensations. Their songs are very popular everywhere. But these girls are very special to us as they have done the playback for the first time for Windows with this song Nakku Nakur. We hope that the song will be liked by everyone” said Nandita Roy.

Speaking about the song, Anindya Chatterjee said “Pujo songs are very popular for a long time now. And this song will add to that tradition of Pujo songs. The Nandy sisters have made a name for themselves with their works. And I thought that they would do complete justice to the songs and they have surely done that. And my journey with Windows is something that I will not be able to tell in a few words” said Anindya Chatterjee.

Devlina Kumar who had been part of the hit-song Rangabati is also part of this song. The actress said “I was under a huge pressure as Shibu da wanted this song to be as popular as Rangabati. Now that the song has been released it is already trending and I am happy about it. There is a little dance movement in the song and I have done the choreography of the song too”.

Raktabeej is slated for release on 19^th October.
