Free Medical Consultation & Check-Up Camp By Health Station Theism Belgachia
To celebrate the first anniversary of India’s first health station, Theism Belgachia, a free medical consultation and checkup camp was organized by Theism Diagnostics and Metro Railway Kolkata.
Started as a pilot project one year back, Theism Belgachia was a unique private-public partnership initiative directed to encourage the easy accessibility of healthcare facilities for people and to promote the cause of disease prevention, which has a number of benefits. As part of this initiative, Theism Diagnostics, the healthcare arm of the 50-year-old Theism Group conglomerate, joined hands with Metro Railway Kolkata to establish the concept of health on the go.
A primary healthcare kiosk with ECG, pathology, and first aid services was set up inside the station grounds as part of this project. Over 50000 commuters have already benefited from its services in its first year of operation.
On-site, doctors provided a general, orthopedic, and dental checkup camp in honor of Theism Belgachia’s one-year anniversary, which was observed on Doctors’ Day. Additionally, a broad effort was launched to raise commuters’ awareness of their health. Senior principal officers of the Metro Railway inaugurated the camp. Theism Group’s senior brass were in attendance, especially for the event.
