Full Details Of ICC’s Centenary Marathon Run 2025


At a press conference at ICC Tower, the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) announced the Centenary Marathon Run 2025. The event, which is set for February 23, 2025, will commemorate a century of ICC’s history and encourage sportsmanship and fitness.
Gracing the event were Anirban Dutta, Secretary, IFA & Member, ICC Sports Committee, Sanjay K Jain, MD, T.T Limited & Chairman, ICC National Textiles Committee, and Dr. Rajeev Singh, Director General, ICC. The names of the well-known athletes and notable figures who will participate in the eagerly awaited run were also disclosed. To strengthen ICC’s dedication to promoting a culture of sports and well-being, the Centenary Marathon seeks to unite professional athletes, business executives, and fitness enthusiasts.
The event is being organized by ICC, a prominent national chamber with its headquarters located in Kolkata and offices throughout India and abroad. The theme of the event is “Run with Passion, Celebrate with Legacy”. Two race categories will be there at the marathon: a 3.5 KM Run, which is open to competitors between the ages of 18 and 60, and an 11 KM Run, which is intended as a competitive segment for professional athletes. The 11 KM winners will receive Rs 20,000 (1st), Rs 15,000 (2nd), and Rs 10,000 (3rd), while the 3.5 KM winners will receive Rs 10,000 (1st), Rs 7,000 (2nd), and Rs 5,000 (3rd) to encourage competition.
The run will start from Red Road, at Mohammedan Sporting Club, and end at George Telegraph Sports Club. George Telegraph Sports Club is also celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.
The flag-off ceremony will begin at 5:30 AM. The ceremony will be graced by eminent personalities, like Mr. Aankur Patni, Vice Chairman, Ion Exchange, Ms. Jyotirmoyee Sikdar, former MP Lok Sabha and Olympian with double gold medals in the Asian Games, Ms. Pranati Das, gymnast, Mr. Rahul Banerjee, archer, Dr. Sutapa Roy, Principal of Vidyasagar College for Women, Ms. Chaitali Das from Jute Story and Rakshak Foundation, Md. Iqbal, model, Mr. Kalyan Kar from the IT sector, Ms. Deblina Kumar, Mr. Debdut Roychowdhury, Founder and Director of Hatchlab Innovations Private Limited, and Ms. Sangita Sinha, Miss Asia Grand Universe.
The ICC Centenary Marathon, which is anticipated to draw more than 1,200 runners, will celebrate a century of ICC’s influence on business and society while fusing history with sportsmanship.
