OM EVENTs, RockBuzz & The Green Studio organized a wonderful Fun-Food festival titled “Futsal Festival” for the first time in Action Area 2. This initiative was for the residents of Newtown.

Four food carts, ‘Kabab Mein Haddi’, ‘Crispy Bite’, ‘Burger Bros’ and ‘Bite Junction’ were inaugurated at the Futsal Ground, Newtown, Action Area 2.

Gracing the occasion was Debasish Sen, MD HIDCO, Chairman NKDA, and the artists Tapas Adhikary, Ritobroto, Amit Adhikary, and Srijita Mitra.

This event partnered by Orchids The International School & Newtown Daycare, was open to all from 3 pm to 10 pm. A painting competition was organized by The Green Studio and shows like Dance, Musical instruments, Bands, and Magic were also performed.

The entire zone was decorated with kids-friendly food stalls, and there was a separate Play Zone for the kids.

A fashion show and cultural program was organized and the other stage was open to all for on-spot impromptu performances.

The Futsal Ground is a wonderful initiative of   HIDCO & NKDA and is open to all from every day till late evening. Permanent food stalls, a play zone for kids, and properly maintained turf for cricket or football tournaments are also available on this ground.
