Director Indranil Banerjee after the immense success of his last short film One Night Stand is back again with a new short film titled Hello. Excerpts from the exclusive interview of the director by The Kolkata Mail correspondent Priyanka Dutta..

How did you think of making the short film Hello?
Indranil Banerjee- After the last short film One Night Stand, the response from the audience was huge. We received love, appreciation, applause and blessings. So I thought of working with a different topic altogether. Hence Hello came into being. What happens when you receive a phone call and how that impacts your life is what this film all about.

The poster shows Hell written within a O. What was the thought behind this unique poster?
Indranil Banerjee- Many directors like to give hints and while many wants their audience to find out on their own. I do not like giving hints. What I can say is that there is some link with Hell and the O signifies a trap. That is all I can say at the moment. Watch the film to know more about it.

Tell us about the cast in the film.
Indranil Banerjee- Rajib Biswas, Adrija, Sounak Ray will be seen in important roles in the film.

Since this is a sci-fi psychological thriller, music plays an important role. Tell us something about the music of the film.
Indranil Banerjee- This is indeed a very good question. The music in this film apart from the acting is the most important aspect of this short film. The music is slow paced but fast and the audience will think whether this is a simple psychological thriller or a sci-fi psychological thriller.

The director like his earlier short films will be showcasing the film at different international level platforms. He is also on talks with national level houses with the help of whom he will be releasing the film for the audience. We wish him all the luck and hope that Hello also gives the team more love and appreciation from the audience!!
