The most popular retro dining establishment in Kolkata, Chapter 2, announced the Goan Food Festival. This much-anticipated event, which began on August 11, 2025, promises to transport foodies on a vibrant and flavorful journey through Goa’s rich culinary heritage.

Gracing the event were Maria Fernandes, Vice Chairman, WBFDC, Shiladitya & Debaditya Chaudhury, Co-Founders of Chapter 2.

A wide variety of famous dishes that highlight the richness, diversity, and history of Goan cuisine are on display at this year’s Goan Food Festival. Every bite of the delicious assortment of Konkan coast specialties, including spicy meats, hearty curries, and nostalgic desserts, tells a tale.

The menu consists of starters and mains, including Goan Squid Chilly Fry, Pork Sausage Chilli Fry, Goan Fish Croquettes, Crispy Fried Bombil, Goan Beer Battered Prawns, Goan Chicken Chop, Goan Beef Chop Goan Crab Masala, Goan Beef and Vegetable Curry, Pomfret Recheado, Goan Pork Sausage Pulao, Pork Sorpotel, Prawn Balchao, Goan Fish Curry, Goan Red Chicken Curry and Pork Vindaloo.

Vegetarians can relish delicacies like French Bean Foogath with Garlic Breads, Mixed Veg Xacuti, Mushroom Chilli Fry, and Minced Veg Chops.

Desserts on offer are Goan Dodol and the Traditional Goan Bebinca.

Also available is a wide selection of Goan-themed Cocktails and Mocktails, including Malta Orange & Tia Maria and Watermelon Mojito & Chilli Guava.

The prices start at just Rs 200/- onwards.

The festival will run till 10th September, 2025, at Chapter 2’s Southern Avenue outlet.
