The course of love is never easy. And add to that the fact a vast age gap between the lovers. It becomes increasingly difficult for the couple to be accepted by their respective families and even society.

Star Jalsha understands this and in their latest serial, Godhuli Alap they have introduced the concept of an age gap between the lovers. The story revolves around two individuals from different socio-cultural backgrounds who get together due to their destiny.

Arindam Roy is a well-known middle-aged advocate, while Nolok is a sweet and bubbly village girl who has a Bohurupi group of her own. Their lives take a turn due to a promise made by advocate Arindam Roy to Nolok’s father. Arindam Roy has sacrificed his youth to fight for justice for the farmers of Mourigram. He has been so involved in a case running for 20 years that he didn’t get time to think about his personal life. He had sworn that he will not get married unless he can bring justice to the poor farmers of the village. But fate makes him meet Nolok. What happens next?

Koushik Sen will be seen in the role of Arindam Roy while Nolok will be played by actress Somu Sarkar. The ensemble cast features Sohag Sen as Arundhati, Arindam’s mother, Bhaswar Chattopadhyay as Agni, Arindam’s brother, Arpita Mukherjee as Chaiti, Agni’s wife, Riju as Aditto, Arindam’s brother, Diya and many more.
