The re-opening of cinema halls in every state including Maharashtra has brought in good news for the filmmakers. SVF added to the excitement by releasing Golondaaj in Hindi for the national audience.

Produced by SVF, Golondaaj is a historic fiction that narrates the journey of Nagendra Prasad Sarbadhikari, who is also known as the ‘Father of Indian Football’. He was the first Indian to ever play football and thereby, introduce it as a mainstream sport in India. Dev will be seen in the role of Nagendra Prasad Sarbadhikari.

Director Dhrubo Banerjee narrates how one man goes on to challenge the existing social structure and how the ripple of his action resonates across the country for ages to come.

The cast of the film consists of Dev, Anirban Bhattacharya, Ishaa Saha, Alexx O’Nell, Srikant Acharya, John Bhattacharya, Indrashish Roy, and others.

The music of the movie has been composed by the GiMA Award Winner, Bickram Ghosh.
