GPE– Girl Power Empowerment is an all-women community that focuses on empowering women and girls in India to be able to meet new challenges and education. They also counsel and assist in generating income-earning opportunities for disadvantaged and underprivileged women.

GPE celebrated its 2nd Annual Women’s Empowerment Forum “I Support Girl Power” at the main auditorium of the Book Fair.

Founder of GPE, Ms Lubna Maelzer along with a panel of erudite speakers that included renowned public figures like Dolly Basu (TV Actress & Social Worker), Abhishek Dutta (Fashion Designer), Dr. Dolly Gupta (Dermatologist & Cosmetic Surgeon), Nandini Choudhury (TV Host), Devdan Choudhuri (Author), Somwrita Guha (Founder of Papercup) and Prerona Roy (Success Mentor) discussed on many important issues.

The event was hosted by multi-talented RJ-cum-actress, Manali Ganguly.
