Gramer Rani Binapani is Star Jalsha’s new serial that will begin airing from 8^th March, International Women’s Day. With this new serial, the channel will break the stereotypes associated with village women and portray smart talents that live in the Indian villages. One of the most striking characteristics of Binapani is that she knows how to handle social media for the development and welfare of her village.

Binapani has an influential presence in the world of social media. She showcases the developments happening in her village on social media.

Shatadru is a rich businessman residing in the city and the owner of Shakti Rice and Flour. Binapani leads a protest against Shatadru’s company for unjustly denying the villagers their shares of profit from their cultivation. As Binapani continues to protest, he challenges her to run his company to see whether she can bring about sustainable development in the way the company operates.

Will Binapani be able to bring about a systemic change in Shakti Rice and Flour, which will eventually benefit her village? What is Shatadru’s motive behind leaving his company for Binapani?

Produced by Tent Productions, the character of Binapani will be played by Annemary Tom and Honey Bafna will essay the role of Shatadru.
