Multiple Grammy Award Winner musician, Keith Thomas has produced music for many eminent singers like Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Adam Levine and many more.

The musician was in India to record with Indian artists in Kolkata for international projects.

Somchanda Bhattacharya, Anwesha Dutta, Sayan Chowdhury, Arunashish Roy, Manisha Karmakar, Rik Basu, Shubham Banerjee, Aritra Banerjee and Porshia Sen are some of the artists who have worked with Keith Thomas.

“It is a great collaboration and I am really excited to be working with such amazing talents. The people in the city are so kind and warm that I am having a great time working here. The schedule is hectic so we are making songs on the spot and recording about three to four songs daily” said Keith Thomas.

Alongside Keith, Marcus Rixon, the founder and chairman of Rixon Entertainment USA also graced the occasion. He is responsible for getting Keith and the team to Kolkata for the recording. With him he has assistance of the artist presenter and lyricist for the projects Rajrup Biswas, who has produced the beautiful lyrics to the songs being dubbed here.

Rik Basu got the chance to work in this project through Rajrup Biswas whom he knew for the past three-four years. “Working with Keith is a huge honour as we do not get the chance to work with Grammy Award winners often. The kind of music arrangement that has been done in the songs is awesome and the Indian audience has not heard something like that before” said the singer.

Somchanda who is an old friend of Rajrup got to work with Keith when Rajrup suggested her name to the musician. “I was not aware of his works. We usually know about the people in the front and not the people who work hard to make them famous. So when I search about him on the internet, I was so ecstatic. I recorded about 10 to 12 songs for him and this has been a huge learning experience for me” said the singer.

Shubham Banerjee had recorded songs in English, Hindi and Bengali for Keith Thomas. The singer was excited to have worked with such a great personality. He also mentioned that the experience will enrich him.

 Udit Arun Saptarshi is the sound recordist and engineer from India, who is helping out in recording of the songs.

A total of 40 songs are being recorded by 12 Indian artists over a span of 2 weeks. The songs are mainly for Facebook and other streaming channels. The instruments and recording equipment’s are all from USA. This is for the first time that such a huge scale project happened in India.
