The grand premiere of ‘Bhuban Babur Smart Phone‘ took place in the presence of the cast and crew of the Bengali film.

The story revolves around Bhuban Roy, an accounting clerk at a Rajlakshmi Agro Ltd. regional office. He is currently 58 years old. Being a serious person, he enjoys dressing in a Dhoti and a Punjabi for work every day. He avoids using computers, smartphones, and other modern devices that are powered by technology out of inhibition. He gets along just fine while turning on his radio and typing away on the office-provided typewriter. He is a conservative. When Ratul Sarkar, the regional manager at his workplace, is transferred, things start to change for him. By threatening to make him lose his work, Ratul Sarkar is able to convince him to acquire a phone. However, after acquiring the phone, trouble begins in Bhuban’s life.

The film is directed by Pranabesh Chandra and Santanu Basu.

The cast of the film consists of Chinta Mukhopadhyay, Paran Bandyopadhyay, Kharaj Mukhopadhyay, Ishan Mazumder, Siddhartha Ghosh, Chandraniv Mukhopadhyay, Patrali Chattopadhyay, Chanda Chattopadhyay, Debranjan Nag, and Sandip Dey.

The background music is by Dishari Chakraborty and the lyrics have been penned by Pranabes Chandra.
