Focusing on the importance of children’s literature in the backdrop of National Youth Day, the SPK Jain Futuristic Academy inaugurated the Kolkata Children’s Literature Festival 2024. This event, which coincides with Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, reflects his ideals and ambitions for fostering young minds via creativity and reading.

The grand inauguration ceremony was graced by Chief Advisor Debasish Sen, serving as MD HIDCO and Chairman of NKDA/NDITA. He stressed the need to bring children’s literature to the front.

The inauguration was also graced by office bearers of the Jain Sabha, members of the school board Lalith Kankaria, Jaideep Patwa, and Principal, Darshan Mutha.

The festival, which is set for January 13 and 14, offers a fascinating array of writers, musicians, and speakers. Some of the speakers include Abir Chatterjee, Soha Ali Khan, Devdutt Pattnaik, and others.

Through interactive conversations, storytelling sessions, and workshops, it hopes to enthrall young audiences and inspire them to explore the fascinating world of books and ideas.

The SPK Jain Futuristic Academy is looking forward to a fruitful literary journey as the inaugural ceremony comes to an end.
