The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata (IISER Kolkata) organized the IISER Kolkata Open Day.

It was organized on its Foundation Day at Mohanpur Campus.

1000 students from 30 schools and colleges from the nearby districts and also from Jharkhand visited IISER Kolkata for this amazing event.

Dr. Ramji Singh, Executive Director, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Kalyani was the Chief Guest at the event. He delivered the Foundation Day special lecture titled Power of Education.

Dr. Ajay Mallick, Medical Superintendent, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Kalyani also attended the event as a special guest.

Prof Ananda Das Gupta, Professor, Department of Physical Sciences, IISER Kolkata also presented a popular talk titled From Physics to Mathematics.

Some of the highlights of the event were interactions with young researchers, amazing experiments, popular talks, poster presentations from different departments, and many more.

In short, IISER Kolkata Open Day was a grand day celebrating research and innovation.
