Great Participation At Annual Awards Ceremony Of The Julien Day School

The Julien Day School-Julien Educational Trust, 2025, held its annual awards ceremony in the EZCC auditorium in Saltlake, to a packed house.

Aditya Mitra, a prospective Class 12 student from Julien Day School in Kolkata, was the evening’s photographer.

Gracing the occasion was Managing Trustee, Mrs. S. E. Broughton, Chairman Mr. J. G. Broughton, and Mr Terrence John – Director of Education and Development, Actor/Activist Teacher of Method Acting Mr. Bobby Chakraborty.

In all four branches of Kolkata, Kalyani, Ganganagar, and Howrah, they awarded prizes to deserving students who had demonstrated excellence in their academic pursuits, athletics, creativity, and other extracurricular activities. During the spectacular ceremony, over 106 awards were presented.

Respected Mrs. S.E. Brington, a 95-year-old wonder woman and managing trustee, was also there with all of her vigor and excitement to congratulate the teachers and students who deserved it.

With their characteristic candor and wit, Mr. Richard Green and Mr. J. G. Broughton co-hosted the exciting evening.

The award ceremony featured amazing and vibrant dance performances by the students from all four branches, accompanied by live music by the diverse Julien Day School Band, “Julienite”, which was composed of both students and teachers.

The esteemed ‘Mr & Ms Julienite’ competition, judged by Mr. Bobby Chakraborty and others, was also held. Ritaja Chakraborty and Arindam Mukherjee, both from the Ganganagar branch, won, respectively.

Julien Day School-Kalyani was the year’s overall winner, while Ganganagar took home the runners-up trophy.
