The Biswa Bangla Convention Center played host to Amity University Kolkata’s Convocation 2025 with great success.

In undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs, about 2000 students graduated.

The event demonstrated Amity‘s ongoing dedication to global preparedness, leadership development, and academic success. Twenty-three deserving students with outstanding traditional and human qualities received the coveted Shree Baljit Sashtri Award.

The event was graced by Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Atul Chauhan, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ashok K. Srivastava, and Hon’ble Senior Vice-President Mr. U. Ramachandran.

Two distinguished industry leaders-Mr. Sanjeev Krishan, Chairperson, PwC India, and Mr. Rahul L. Kanodia, Vice Chairman & CEO, Datamatics Global Services Ltd., were conferred honorary doctorates.

Chancellor Dr. Atul Chauhan commended the graduates in his speech for their tenacity and commitment. “Convocation serves as a reminder that pursuing excellence requires empathy and purpose. Amity graduates have consistently demonstrated their ability to lead with both intelligence and integrity,” said Dr. Chauhan.

With students from numerous Indian states and other nations, the convocation event also honored inclusivity and cultural variety, reflecting Amity’s global character. The institution reiterated its dedication to creating a setting that promotes respect for one another and intercultural understanding while allowing people from all backgrounds to learn, work together, and flourish.

As graduates begin their careers, the ceremony, which was attended by parents, faculty, and guests, was a significant milestone for the university.
