Great Participation Of Students At Primary School Fun Fest Alaap
The primary school fun carnival, Alaap, was put on by The Heritage School in Kolkata. Ms. Madhumita Chattopadhyay was the chief guest at the event. She is the editor of Sananda Magazine and a former vice president of ABP. She inaugurated the festival. Ms. Priya Arora, a writer and spiritual enthusiast who recently published her own book titled “Rama, A Man for All Ages,” served as the event’s Guest of Honour.
Ms. Madhumita discussed many attributes the kids should learn outside of books and normal schoolwork during the first session. She commended The Heritage School’s administration for planning an occasion that would motivate the young students in classes 2, 3, and 4.
Ms. Priya Arora discussed her own book, which kids can read to learn about Rama’s fundamental characteristics as a key component of the Ramayana. Such information would spiritually enrich each and every person.
This non-competitive fun fest had students of classes 2 to 5 participating from 12 schools of Kolkata like Agrasain Balika Siksha Sadan, Birla High School, Delhi Public School, Ruby Park, Garden High School, Indus Valley World School, La Martiniere School for Boys, Mahadevi Birla World Academy, M.C.Kejriwal Vidyapeeth, Modern High School for Girls, Shri Shikshayatan School, The BSS School and many more.
Alumni members of The Heritage School and teachers were the judges at the event.
Activities like Mime, Sing Alone, Play with Clay, Paint your Imagination, and Spin a Yarn kept the children invested.
The event witnessed the presence of Smt. Bhawna Agarwal, member, of the School Management Committee, Shri Pradip Agarwal, CEO, of Heritage Group of Institutions, Prof. Basab Chaudhuri, Senior Director- Education, KBT, and other faculty and staff members of the School.
