The inauguration of Green Park Block-B Mohilabrinda’s Ganesh Puja took place in the presence of Sujit Bose, Minister of West Bengal, Fire and Emergency Services, Netai Dutta, Vice-Chairman, SDDM, Krishnapada Dutta, Councillor 20no Ward, SDDM, Hossain Mustafi, ex-Indian footballer, Mihir Bose, Indian footballer, journalist Mrityunjoy Roy, and Agnes Sonia M Ramani, plus sized model.

Lord Ganesh at this pandal was worshipped with special laddus made by the women.

The idol of Lord Ganesh had Shiva and Parvati in the background. With this image, the puja committee wanted to highlight the importance of men and women in society. Women have been proving themselves with their work and showing how they are on par with men through their work and achievements.

This is the third year of this puja.

The Puja committee was more focused on doing social work on the occasion of Ganesh Puja rather than on organizing cultural activities.
