Guest Blog- SC’s Verdict Against JEE Main Postponement; Students Must Focus on JEE Main
The Covid-19 pandemic situation has led to a lot of insecurities and uncertainties all around. In this period, when the admission process is expected to be full-fledged, the entrance tests are not taking place at proper times. The NEET and JEE Main were to be held in July but have been postponed to September. The Supreme Court recently heard the PIL regarding the request from students and parents on the postponement of NEET and JEE Main exams further. On Monday, August 17th, SC headed by Justice Arun Mishra, dismissed the petition and said that the exams should be held in September as scheduled. With the continuous delay of exams, it delays JEE Main admit card, JEE Main Result, and any other events as well. But now the apex court voiced against the further postponement of JEE Main and NEET as it will only put students’ careers in peril. If these exams are not conducted, it will lead to a loss in the academic year of the students leading to a loss to the entire country.
