On the auspicious Eve of Ulta Rath Yatra, Hazra Park Durgotsab organized the Khuti Puja, signaling the beginning of Durga puja activities this year at Jatin Das Park (Hazra crossing). One of the city’s most visually appealing pujas is Hazra Park Durgotsab because of its creative idea and celebratory manner. This Puja is especially well-known for the distinctive pandal designs and the year-round social activity that the committee does.

The occasion was graced by Sovandeb Chattopadhyay, Minister of Agriculture, Govt of WB, Debasish Kumar, MLA, Sayan Deb Chatterjee, Joint Secretary of Hazra Park Durgotsab Committee, Trina Saha, Actress and others.

The Khuti Puja also had Dhaks providing accompaniment.

Sayan Deb Chatterjee, the Joint Secretary of the Hazra Park Durgotsab Committee, said “The entire Hazra Park Durgotsab team is fully charged up for this year after the huge success of the 81st year with its theme as Teen Chakar Golpo where we received multiple awards. We are sure that everyone will value our work this year as well”.

The 82nd edition of the puja promises to be magnificent and inventive, providing an unforgettable experience for those who attend.
