The Khuti Pujo of Hazra Udayan Sangha took place recently.

Debasish Kumar, Firdausal Hasan, Vikram Chatterjee, and Solanki Roy graced the occasion.

Sohor theke niruddesh is the theme of Hazra Udayan Sangha.

The concept and idol is by Swarup Nandi.

Speaking at the event, Debasish Kumar said “Durga Puja has now become global. People in different parts of the world are now slowly becoming aware of this amazing festival of Bengal. And with the Khuti Pujo ceremony happening in different parts of Kolkata, one can understand that Ma is coming soon. I am so happy that Puja committees are gearing themselves up for the Mother Goddess’ arrival”.

Fresh from the success of their recent film Shohorer Ushnotomo Din E, Vikram and Solanki graced the occasion wearing matching t-shirts promoting the film.

They readily took pictures with their fans at the event.

With Durga Puja a few months away, it is indeed amazing to see puja committees gearing up for this annual festival.
